Workshop 2 of Venture Forward took place on Monday with the entire cohort delivering a 3 min pitch using 1 slide.
The cohort were divided into 3 "investor groups" - angel network, SEIS fund and Tier 1 VC fund - to decide if they would take a meeting with the founders pitching - and more importantly, why?
The exercise is designed to reinforce the "investor mindset" methodology that is central to the entire accelerator.
In the morning session, our Venture Forward partner, Will Hill from Stronger Stories, gave the cohort insight into how storytelling can help improve the messaging in your pitch.
Investor traction is definitely on the up within the cohort - so hopefully GC Angels are doing something right!
